Z War GCCS — Privacy
Welcome to z-war.icu. We built Z War GCCS and related tools to help the community, and we believe in keeping privacy simple and transparent. This notice covers the app and optional cloud features on this site. Discord bots have a separate privacy notice.
1. What we don’t collect (and what we avoid)
We aim to collect as little as possible.
- No email signup — We do not ask you to create an account with an email address for the app.
- No passwords on our servers — Cloud access uses codes, not stored account passwords. Treat write/leader codes like secrets and share them only with people you trust.
- No selling your data — We do not — and will not — sell, trade, or rent your information for advertising.
- Local first — Maps, roster, backups, schedules, and similar planning data stay on your device unless you export a file or choose optional cloud sync.
2. Optional cloud sync and cookies
Cloud sync is optional. You can create or join a cloud space with access codes. Alliance backups you upload are end-to-end encrypted using those codes as keys — we cannot read that content. We cannot verify in-game alliance rank. Cloud sessions are short-lived; unused cloud data is removed after a short period. Keep a local Tools → Backup export.
If you use cloud, we may set a short-lived essential session cookie so your browser stays signed into that space — not for ads or cross-site tracking.
Sensitive cloud actions may use a bot check (Cloudflare Turnstile); see Cloudflare’s privacy policy. Basic request logs (such as time and IP) may be kept to prevent abuse.

3. Security and site performance
We use Cloudflare to help keep the site fast and to reduce abuse. These features are not used to sell your data or run advertising:
- Bot protection (Turnstile) — Helps confirm a real person is taking sensitive actions, without the older style of invasive CAPTCHA tracking.
- Performance analytics (Cloudflare Real User Monitoring) — Measures how quickly pages load so we can improve site speed. Cloudflare describes this as performance data that is not stored in cookies or browser storage on your device, and that does not build advertising profiles. Details: Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
We do not run advertising cookies.
4. Ads and payments
The site is built for alliance planning utility.
- No ads — We currently run no advertisements on the website.
- No storefront — We do not sell products, premium subscriptions, or paid services through this site, and we do not ask you to enter payment card details here.
5. Your choices
- Use the app without cloud
- Stop using cloud codes; cloud data ages out when sessions end
- Re-read terms in the app under Tools → Legal

6. Children
This app is not directed at children under 13.
7. Changes
If how the site operates changes, we will update this page. Significant in-app term changes may ask you to accept again. Our commitment not to sell your data for advertising remains.
