Z-War Discord Bots — Privacy Policy
We collect and process only the data needed to provide our Discord bot services. All data is kept secure. We do not sell personal information.
This policy covers the Z-War Discord bots — Calendar, BGB report, and Allied Duel — and read-only calendar links at z-war.icu. It does not cover the Z War mobile/web app or alliance cloud save — see z-war.icu/app/.
What the bots do
- Calendar — event schedules, Discord Scheduled Events, opt-in reminder DMs, and read-only calendar share links
- BGB report — posts Team A / Team B reports to a channel an officer links
- Allied Duel — posts daily Alliance Duel tips to a channel an officer links
Data we process
Depending on how you use the bots, we may process:
- Discord identifiers — server and channel IDs needed to deliver bot features in your community
- Schedule and tip content — event times, reminders, and guidance that officers configure or that we publish on their behalf
- Discord user IDs and preferences — only if you opt in to calendar reminder DMs or submit an event suggestion for officer review
- Operational records — short-lived data used to prevent duplicate reminders or duplicate posts
- Share codes — capability links for read-only calendar pages (not a Discord login)
We do not collect email addresses, passwords, Discord account credentials, usernames, display names, avatars, message history, or server member lists for these bots.
How we use data
- Respond to slash commands and run the bots as configured
- Publish schedules, reports, and tips to linked channels
- Send opt-in calendar reminder DMs
- Serve read-only calendar data via share links
- Prevent abuse and duplicate notifications
We do not sell your data or use bot data for advertising.
Discord
The bots run on Discord. Discord processes commands, events, and messages on its platform. See Discord’s Privacy Policy.

Retention
- Server configuration — while the relevant bot remains in your server, or until an officer unlinks it
- Reminder preferences — until you unsubscribe or the bot is removed
- Other records — only as long as needed for the purpose above; contact us to request deletion
Your rights
You may request access to or deletion of personal data we hold about you by emailing [email protected] with your Discord User ID (and server ID if relevant).

Children
These bots are not directed at children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has submitted personal data through the bots.
Changes
We may update this policy; the effective date above will change. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
