The latest addition to the Dark War Survival armoury is Pet Agents. A range of cute (?) and not cuddly cyborg-style Agents you can command and upgrade. When released, there's the usual “Boost fast” type event. If you invest in the game, it gets you off to a flying start. There's also a new daily boots pack in the **Weekly/Monthly Pass** menu. There are currently 7 Pet Agents, with another about to be released (Aug '26).

> Do not waste training skills on early pets; these are VALUABLE resources

**Pet Training Launch Event**

There is the usual 7 Day launch event for the initial introduction. Put in the effort every day and complete the tasks. There are radar and zombie-killing trials each day to earn your rewards. Alongside this is the Pet Training event and the familiar Puzzle event. It is worth completing all these launch events to get the maximum advantage from the Pet boosting rewards.

**Pet Agent Grades**

* 20 Common
* 20 Uncommon (Green)
* 20 Rare (Blue)
* 40 Epic (Purple)
* 60 Legendary (Orange)
* 100 Mythic (Red)

Each Agent has a dual-buff skill. One skill is Exclusive, _level-based,_ and time-limited (2 Hours); the other skills are based on _training levels_.

## Pet Agent Levels & Skills

Pet agent levels increase their Exclusive Skills. These are available for 2-hour time blocks 3 times a week. Each week they reset, and the counter starts over. Don't waste these for things like Franky, Zombie siege, or minor territory grabs. These limited-use buffs are better deployed during Enemy Buster, Temple Battles, and Trade Post wars. You want every ounce of power for things that count.

> You will need to level all Pets to 20 to begin training and upskilling

### Pet Exclusive Skills

* **Sentinel (Green / C-Tier):** Instant Loot, Useful on Monday AD, but meh.
* **Shining (Blue / B-Tier):** Free Troops (meh)
* **Zeus (Blue / B-Tier):** Advanced Tactical Rations; _used to level up your other pets.**\***_
* **Specter (Purple / A-Tier):** Provides special items, including Pet Training Protocol**\***
* **Frost (Purple / A-Tier):** Increases ATK up to 10% for 2 hours; _Level 40 unlocks Titan_
* **Titan (S+/ Higher Tier):** Increases DEF up to 25% for 2 hours; _Level 50 unlocks Regulus_
* **Regulus (S+ Tier):** Increases ATK up to 25% for 2 hours; _Level 50 unlocks..._

### Specter & Zeus Meta

You should note that two Pet Agents have_** very **_useful Exclusive Skills that help upgrade your pets for free. They are **Zeus** and **Spectre**, who provide _Tactical Rations_ and “special items" which include Wisdom Medals, Rubies and, more importantly, _Pet Training Protocol_ (books).

As you level up, they also cut the cooldown time at Level 3 by 10hrs and Level 5 by 15hrs. Each level they advance, they also give more items. So advancing both of these Pets to level 5 should be a primary goal. This breakthrough will give more items, faster. _It's a critical and missed upgrade path._

### Pet Training Buffs Explained

Aside from the Exclusive skills covered previously, Pets can have their unique buffs increased using Training Protocols. These are the same as hero skills; they've just given them a new name and a new store item. You can get more free ones as explained using Specter & Zeus level-ups. Free and low-spend players should waste these on the first 2 Pets.

Training Protocols come in two flavours: Blue and Gold. Gold ones increase the levels by a higher amount (usually). However, each roll is a gamble. You must pay attention to the overall CP level; it can decrease as well as increase. Correspondingly, you may sacrifice a loss of common buff elements to gain a worthwhile boost in an exclusive buff.

#### **Unique Pet Buffs**

* **Sentinel (Green / C-Tier):** Gathering and Resource output
* **Shining (Blue / B-Tier):** Troop training speed and Troop Load
* **Zeus (Blue / B-Tier):** Construction and Research Speed
* **Specter (Purple / A-Tier):** ATK & DEF in Siege Defences
* **Frost (Purple / A-Tier):** Field Troops ATK & DEF
* **Titan (S+/ Higher Tier):** Siege ATTACK ATK% & DEF%
* **Regulus (S+ Tier):** Siege DEFENSE ATK% & DEF%

##### Summary

Pet Agents bring sizeable buffs to the battlefield. To get the most out of them, only upgrade what is required to a) unlock training (20) b) unlock the next Pet (30, 40 & 50 depending on level. Do not waste Training Protocols on the initial low-level Pets.

Pay attention to Zeus and Specter as they give valuable free pet upgrade materials, Rations and Protocols. These two Pets are key for F2P and low-spend players to upgrade to Level 5 ASAP. How much you push them after that will be limited by the amount of Pet Breakthrough Material Choice boxes you have and the Nutrient Potion, Potentia Chips and Special Ops Honor Medals in your bag. Breakthroughs get more expensive as the levels go up.
